Space Invaders 30th Anniversary Pin Badge

Taito celebrates 30 years of Space Invaders this year with a few games and a wave of products in Japan. NCS has already peddled Space Invaders themed towels, keychains, and pillows. Today, Taito offers the Space Invaders 30th Anniversary Pinbadges which are made of vinyl and metal which measure approximately 2cm or 0.78" in height.

A total of 28 different pin badges are offered in this particular collection and we're sorting them all out into complete sets so that collectors can get each and every one. Please note that Taito's photo shows 30 pin badges but they didn't manufacture 2 of them so we're supplying 28 per set. We have a fairly large sampling size of the pinbadges and the two that Taito didn't manufacture are marked with "NOT INCLUDED" on our product photo.

Second Product Sale Option
Due to the limited number of some pin badges which prevents us from making as many complete sets as we'd like, we're also supplying the badges in smaller sets of six different badges (our choice) at US$10.90 which includes free shipping by USPS Media Mail Service within the United States.

Unknown Soldier: Mokuba no Houkou - Import Preorder

D3 Publisher and Tamsoft have a history with the subject of World War II. They've already released a foot soldier game for the PS2 and the PSP in The Fuhyou but they're fleshing out the theme with a full-priced Nintendo DS game titled Unknown Soldier.

Players take on the role of a grunt who's immersed in the Second World War with a battalion of soldiers. There's no cooperative army action however - you're a lone gun who goes on missions, completes them, and then reunites with the battalion for new orders. Over 30 types of weapons may be recovered from dead enemy soldiers including machine guns and bazookas. The grunt may also commandeer tanks to destroy opposing armor on some stages. Preorders are welcome to ship on October 2, 2008 at JPY4800 or US$46.90 each.

Soul Eater: Medusa no Inbou - Import Preorder

The Soul Eater manga and anime by Atsushi Okubo expands into the world of video games later this year with Wii and NDS games on the way.

In the NDS game, players take on the role of three students at the Shinigami Weapon Meister School who stalk normal citizens who have been corrupted and are at risk of becoming demon underlings. The game features sword slashing action which takes place on isometric stages. Preorders are welcome to ship on October 23, 2008 at JPY4800 (US$46.90).

Space Invaders Mini Skateboard - Import Preorder

What do Space Invaders and skateboards have in common?

Answer: Nothing. Nada. Zero. Zip.

Doesn't matter. Taito's going to etch Space Invaders designs onto the bottoms of miniature skateboards that measure 37cm or 14.56" in length and offer them as prizes in Japanese amusement venues. As is our duty, NCS will import them and try to sell the boards to an apathetic audience. We're thinking we'll have these in storage for a long time. Pricing is set at US$15.90 per skateboard and three varieties are available for preorder.

Akumajou Dracula: Order of Ecclesia Konamistyle

The vampire-killing Belmont family is on hiatus but that doesn't mean Dracula and company can relax. A new order is on the prowl and working overtime to keep the vampire hordes from running rampant. The Order of Ecclesia has taken up the duty of corralling Dracula and their agent of destruction is a young woman named Shanoa.

The new Akumajou (aka Castlevania) game introduces the Glyph system where Shanoa uses the mystical sigils to create a sword, a throwing dagger, or more exotic armaments. Every weapon that's made from a glyph uses magic power and Shanoa will have to watch her use of certain weapons lest they consume her available MP at a rapid pace just as the undead are pressing the attack.

NCS opens up preorders for the Konamistyle Limited Edition of
Akumajou Dracula: Order of Ecclesia today which includes the following bonus items:

» Akumajou Dracula Order of Ecclesia game card
» Akumajou Dracula Order of Ecclesia Original Soundtrack (2 CD collection which contains a total of 50+ tracks of music)
» A genuine leather book jacket which is imprinted with the "Order of Ecclesia" symbol and the "Castlevania OoE" logo on the front cover.

Due to the special arrangements required to import this item into the United States, NCS is pricing the bundle at US$115.90 and preorders are welcome to ship on or around October 23, 2008.

Rakuna Touch Pen for Original NDS - Clearance

Original Update: November 16, 2005
«©NCSX» The standard NDS stylus is small but it works. People with ham hands however might have a hard time gripping the stylus between their beefy fingers. Hori targets the big-handed people among us with a standard-size stylus dubbed the Rakuna Touch Pen that is gripped like a normal writing instrument.
A few ridges on the barrel of the pen provide additional grip and a little mounting receptacle is included inside the blister pack which plugs into the back of the original NDS. The receptacle is meant to serve as a dock for the Rakuna Touch Pen while a little plug on the back of the pen goes into the built-in hole on the back of the NDS.

This item is also known as the Comfortable Touch Pen.

Sale Offer
NCS' remaining inventory of the Rakuna Touch Pen for the original Nintendo DS is new, factory sealed, and in mint condition. Price: US$6.90 per pen which includes "free shipping" within the United States by USPS Media Mail Service. «Larger Photos»
