Prinny Ore ga Shujinkou de Iinsuka? - Japanese Preorder

For too long, the Prinnies have labored under the yoke of their mistress Etna. One Prinny has had enough and ventures out on his own. Well, not really on his own - he's actually under orders from Etna to seek out stolen sweets and pastries that have been absconded by some dastardly rascal. The Prinny protagonist in Atlus' upcoming PSP side-scrolling platform game can jump, slash, twist, dash, and toss bombs to overcome adversity. For those times when a little something extra is needed, the Prinny may also hop onto armored vehicles armed with frightful artillery-firing armaments. The game is scheduled for Nov 20 and early preorders will ship with a bonus BGM soundtrack CD in 1:1 ratio.

Kenka Bancho 3: Zenkoku Seiha - Japanese Preorder

The heroes of the previous Kenka Bancho games have shuffled off to greener pastures. We imagine Yasuo from the first game to be a shopkeeper nowadays, peddling individually wrapped pieces of sushi at JPY100 a pop. Tomoya from the second game is probably still a punk but one with a job. At the local "hostess" bar. Earning his keep as muscle.

The two earlier Kenka Bancho games were cult. They didn't reach the critical mass that would have engendered a wave of merchandising deals but the games were popular enough to ensure another release in order to bring the series to trilogy status. The new protagonist in Kenka Bancho is a fresh-faced youth named Takashi Sakamoto who's living on the wrong side of the school yard. He's tough, fast, and has got a serious problem with authority figures. To that end, he gets into fights with other toughs and bristles in the presence of teachers. Takashi does have one redeeming quality however. He's ambitious. He wants to be the top dog among all the gangsters in all the high schools across all 47 prefectures. To reach his lofty goal, Takashi battles other bruisers in a bid to become the king of all Japan.

Similar to the previous games in the series, Takashi can battle multiple enemies at once and engage in Menchi-Beam contests. Errands, missions, and objectives also pop up from time to time to give players a bit of variety in the action. Preorders are welcome to ship on November 27, 2008.

Dai Kaiju Battle Ultra Colosseum - Japanese Preorder

Movie monsters such as Alien Baltan, King Joe Black, Kanegon, Red King, and Dada have been part of Japanese pop culture since the 1950s. Back in the day, Godzilla, Ultraman and Gamera were stars on the silver screen as well as television and they all needed a healthy assortment of enemies to battle. As such, the studios created a spectrum of bizarre creatures with strange powers and even stranger appearances. For example, what abyss did the frog-faced Garamon stumble out of and why was it allowed to live past its first birthday?

To celebrate the ungainly movie monsters of yore, Bandai assembles over 60 monsters and pits them against each other in a 3D fighting game where gargantuan beasts slap, kick, and use fierce powers against each other. The Story Mode allows players to choose a monster and fight a procession of fellow monsters in one-on-one action against the backdrop of a dramatic storyline. There's also a Custom Team Mode where groups of monsters engage in a battle royale and a Battle Mode which allows two players to face off against monsters that are controlled by the COM.

Preorders are welcome to ship on October 16, 2008.

To Love-Ru Lala T-Shirt - Japanese Preorder

Walk down any street of any major metropolitan city in North America and 1 in 10,000 people might recognize Lala on your new To Love-Ru t-shirt from Cospa. She's the full-bosomed, hat wearing, eye winking, arm gesticulating, hair waving... babe to the left.

Walk down a similar stretch of street in Tokyo and 1 in 10 pedestrians will recognize Lala. Some of the more aggressive otaku wanderers in front of Shibuya 109 may even attempt to rip the shirt right off your back. They'd be the type of To Love-Ru fans who find Lala an irresistible force.

Cospa has started preorders for monochromatic t-shirt which features Lala in all of her glory. Sure, she's barely visible but don't let that deter you from celebrating your passion for all things To Love-Ru. The shirt will be available in M-L-XL and preorders are welcome to ship in late September 2008 at JPY3000 or US$33.90 from NCS.

Hyper Stick Pro Otomedius Gorgeous Edition - Delayed
Konami sent out an email over the weekend to Konamistyle customers who preordered the Hyper Stick Pro Otomedius Gorgeous Edition. We're interested in keeping the preorders that we submitted for our own company's staffers but we'll contact everyone else who placed a preorder to update the status. The delay could be just for a couple of weeks but we'll post more information once we receive another email from Konami.
