Death Smiles Real Arcade Pro EX - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» The updated release date for the Japanese Xbox release of Death Smiles was finalized last night (ships on April 23, 2009) and Amazon.jp started preorders for an Amazon-exclusive Death Smiles Real Arcade Pro Joystick. It's basically a HRAP EX (Sanwa stick) with Death Smiles artwork on top. NCS generally covets this sort of stuff so we're working with a number of Japanese agents to order the sticks from Amazon. Sadly, this level of manpower means increased costs in addition to yen conversion and deputy charges. Preorders are welcome to ship on April 23, 2009 at the lofty price of US$239.90 each. Please accept our condolences.rt Preorder

Gyakuten Saiban! Kurae Touch Pen - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» In the Gyakuten Saiban (Phoenix Wright) series of games, the attorneys tend to do a lot of accusing. To add dramatic effect to their sharp-edged accusations, the lawyers also do a lot of pointing. A rigid lawyerly finger that's pointed at a hapless defendant's face can cause angst and perhaps consternation. In other words, a pointed finger wields immense power.

Toy manufacturer Yujin hasn't done a lot with the Gyakuten Saiban franchise but they're releasing a set of six touch pens which are based on the famous gaming franchise. The touch pens in the set include two blue and white Phoenix Wright
(Ryuuichi Naruhodou) versions, a purplish variant for his rival Miles Edgeworth (Reiji Mitsurugi), and a grayish stylus which features the statuesque Mia Fey (Chihiro Ayasato). Each pen measures 10cm or 3.93" in length and is attached to a little plastic placard that reads "Objection!" in Japanese.

Preorders are welcome to ship on or around May 28, 2009 at US$25.90 per complete set of six Gyakuten Saiban touch pens.

Doom Blu-Ray - New Release, Ships in 24 Hours

From the Publisher
In the not-so-distant future, a portal has been discovered leading from Earth to Mars, where the government operates a research base to examine the ruins of a lost civilization; scientists are studying it, conducting experiments they perhaps shouldn't be, and trying find out what happened. Answer: nothing good. That's what Sarge (The Rock) and his unit of high-tech Marines find out the hard way when they're sent to investigate a disturbance on the base--which turns out to be nothing less than an infestation of terrifying, evil, flesh-eating monsters.

DOOM, based on one of the most popular video games of all time, knows exactly what it wants to do, and wastes no time in doing it. Andrzej Bartkowiak, the director of lean, effective action flicks like ROMEO MUST DIE and EXIT WOUNDS, gets right to the meat of the movie: marines versus monsters in dark, dank corridors. The Rock brings just the right balance of bad-ass attitude and deadpan humor to the role of Sarge, while the cast's other standout is Reaper (LORD OF THE RINGS' Karl Urban), who tries to repair his strained relationship with his sister Samantha (Rosamund Pike), one of the base's scientists.
