Puyo Puyo 7 - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» The Puyo Puyo franchise has been around since 1991 and we've watched the progression of the series through the years. Our first exposure to the game was the Famicom version followed by the MegaDrive edition. The latest game in the franchise ships this summer under the guise of Puyo Puyo 7 which features Wi-Fi functionality for 4-player competitive action.

When a 4-player game proceeds, everyone's NDS screens will show all four players' boards and their progress. For example, the player's board is position on the left side of the touch screen while player #2 will be right next to it. On the top screen, players #3 and #4 will also be shown in split-screen. Preorders are welcome to ship on July 30, 2009 at JPY4800 or US$49.90 from NCS. Japanese product name:

Hello Kitty no PacPac & Logic - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Hello Kitty is recruited by Sanrio and Dorasu into a pair of puzzle games which feature familiar play mechanics:

(1) Hello Kitty no Pac Pack - Disembodied pairs of Kitty heads fall from the top of the screen and your task is to stack at least four like-colored Kitties atop each other to clear them from the screen. Chain combos are possible by positioning the Kitty heads in chain-conducive arrangements.
(2) Hello Kitty Oekaki Logic - Use cues on the perimeter of the 10x10 play board to fill in spaces to create simple illustrations that are reminiscent of the big-pixel 80s.

Reservations are welcome to ship on July 30, 2009 at JPY3000 or US$30.90 from NCS. Japanese product name:

Bleach DS 4th: Flame Bringer - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» When Rukia Kuchiki finds a flaming Zanpakutō (Soul cutter Sword), she's summarily possessed by its power. In order to rescue Rukia from her daze, Ichigo ventures forth to find a way to bring her back and release Rukia from the possession. The next Bleach game for the Nintendo DS is a 2D platformer where Ichigo Kurosaki runs from left to right and hacks enemy henchmen with loud thwacks and smacks. The game utilizes both screens of the DS where Ichigo can jump upwards and run on platforms that are located on the top screen to engage a world that scrolls freely both vertically and horizontally. Power-ups, customizations, and special attacks are triggered by using Soul System cards which may be combined for different effects. Preorders are welcome to ship on August 6, 2009 at JPY4800 or US$49.90 from NCS.

Shuwa no Mori - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Learning sign language is similar to learning any other language but there's no audio involved. It's all physical in that your hands do a good portion of the "talking" instead of your mouth. Star-Fish sets out to teach sign language with a Japanese tutorial program that features a lanky young girl with a bowl-shaped haircut as the emcee and a group of honey-colored rodents as her assistants. The software includes structured lessons which teach users the hand and arm movements that represent words, terms, and concepts followed by multiple-choice exercises that test what you've learned. By watching the visual cues acted out by the emcee, users get to see exactly how to perform signs.
Preorders are welcome to ship on June 18, 2009 at JPY4800 or US$49.90 from NCS.

Blazing Souls Accelerate - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» After the ravages of the Seven Year War, the denizens of Neverland slowly rebuild. Despite the gradual sway towards order, the balance of the world is uneven, caused by the absence of some forms of magic. Enter an amnesia-addled mercenary named Zeros who unearths an artifact which may hold the key to resolving the equilibrium of Neverland. Zeros joins up with a number of fellow travelers including a gruff warrior named Duzer and a morose young girl named Andel who seeks answers for the death of her parents. The party is eventually engulfed in an adventure which will affect the future direction of Neverland and its long suffering citizens.

Similar to earlier S-RPGs from Idea Factory, Zeros and friends visit the town guild to fetter out missions and open new lands. Cooperative attacks and powerful Break Arts techniques are available which ignite massive damage-inducing roundhouses on hapless targets. World travel is viewed on an isometric map as Zeros moves and interacts with the landscape. Objects may be manipulated to reach higher area or pushed. Battles are fought on isometric battlefields where magical effects and Overkills are shown in flashy animated sequences with bright conflagrations lighting up the screen. All PSP preorders will ship with a set of three bonus Blazing Souls postcards.
Reservations are welcome to ship on July 23, 2009 at JPY4800 or US$49.90 from NCS. Japanese product name:

Policenauts for 3DO - Clearance

NCS Sale of the Week Offering: May 11, 2009
Original Release in Japan: September 29, 1995

«©NCSX»
New and factory sealed Policenauts for the Japanese 3DO which is an adventure game from Hideo Kojima that was released back in 1995. By the time the game was released, the Lethal Weapon movie was already 8 years old and part of pop culture. If goaded into describing the game in 10 words or less, we might be tempted to call it "Futuristic Lethal Weapon, Hideo Kojima style." Let's face it, the protagonist Jonathan Ingram is the video game version of Mel Gibson's Martin Riggs and Ed Brown is the spitting image of Roger "I'm too old for this $#!^" Murtaugh. Character similarities aside, Policenauts follows the story of Jonathan after he returns from cryogenic sleep in outer space and works to uncover a growing mystery after witnessing the murder of his ex-wife who came to him for help in locating her missing husband.

NCS' remaining inventory of Policenauts is brand spanking new, factory sealed, and in excellent condition. Please note however that there is a chance that the game disc may pop out of its spindle during shipping. All of the copies that we will be selling this week are secure and we don't hear anything sliding around inside.

Sale Offering

Pricing per copy of Policenauts is set at US$30.90 each. If you reside in the USA, you may select USPS Media Mail shipping on our shop which is about $2.50. International customers are encouraged to select USPS First Class Airmail at a cost of approximately US$10 to most destinations. «Photo Gallery»
