Monster Hunter Cooler Drink - Import Preorder

NCS Product Synopsis
©NCSX» We've played hours upon hours of Monster Hunter across different gaming platforms over the past few years and NCS has slain thousands of monsters. Thousands. During the course of monster hunting, we've also butchered creatures big and small into virtual chops (for eating) to quiet the stomach rumbling noises that emanate from the protagonist. Our hunter-hero has also quaffed hundreds of potions. The concept of Monster Hunter eating and drinking has translated to real foods and drinks in Japan such as the Monster Hunter Canned Ramen so Bandai's new Monster Hunter Cooler Drink isn't anything unique. It's just the latest in a line of foodstuffs that have reached the Japanese marketplace.

Caltoy Buta (Pig) Keychain - Import Preorder

©NCSX» When NCS imported Sega's Caltoy big Pig plushes back in 2005, we were given a ~US$2300 UPS bill for shipping large toy swine from Japan to the USA. The boxes that held the plushes were the type used to house refrigerators and washing machines. Sega's next bunch of Caltoy pigs are markedly smaller and NCS is anticipating much more reasonable shipping costs when we import them later this year. The Caltoy pig keychains measure a mere 10 x 7cm (3.93 x 2.75") and are topped by a keychain. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late October 2009 at US$5.75 each.

The Rocketeer Real Action Heroes ver2.5 - Import Preorder

©NCSX» In 1991, a rocket-powered superhero, Jennifer Connelly, and Nazi villains couldn't convince prospective movie audiences to pay the cost of admission. Positioned as a "summer blockbuster," the Rocketeer raked in a mere $46,704,056 in total receipts. That last $56 was hard fought.

Fast forward to 2003 and Medicom commemorated the 12-year anniversary of the Rocketeer with a Real Action Heroes run that was limited to 2000 pieces. Collectors applauded, paid the dear cost of collecting, and the figure eventually sold out, never to be seen again. Or so we thought. The Rocketeer RAH was re-released in 2006 and it's making another comeback later this year in a "version 2.5" (#461) rendition. The Rocketeer sports a studded brown leather jacket with a flap which flips open to reveal a zipper. To complete the ensemble, a silver colored rocket pack is strapped to his back with copper-colored thrusters at the bottom. Preorders are welcome to ship in late October 2009 at JPY14800 or US$158.90.

Horo is on her continuing quest to reach her homeland of Yoitsu. In the game, Lawrence and Horo meet an old man in need of special medicine so the two travelers decide to embark on a journey to procure the drugs for him. Supporting characters that may be encountered include a shepherdess named Nora Arendt and an alchemist who answers to Dian Rubens. To earn a living, Lawrence purchases goods in one locality and sells them in another to earn a profit and work towards his goal of opening his own shop one day. Preorders are welcome to ship on September 17, 2009 and reservations are also welcome for a limited edition priced at JPY8800.

Dream Club - Import Preorder

©NCSX» A new and highly exclusive hostess bar is debuting in Japan this August. We think they're waiting for their liquor license to be approved but once the doors are flung open, patrons who are fortunate enough to become members will enjoy an added dimension to their nightly activities. Dream Club is the name and libation's served by lovely hostesses is the game. Literally. Dream Club is a hostess bar simulation where players visit the Dream Club, order colorful alcoholic beverages from an extensive menu, and talk to hostesses. By being somewhat clever through the input of prompts and cues, players try to learn more about the girls and get them to drink. By loosening a hostess up, she might reveal a personal secret or get up on stage to do a little dancing or singing. Familiarity normally breeds contempt but not at Dream Club. The more that you visit and spend your hard-earned yen, the friendlier the hostesses get. You won't find love at Dream Club but you'll get lots of undivided attention that might not normally be forthcoming elsewhere. Remember, as long as your money is flowing, you can do not wrong at Dream Club.

Preorders for the Japanese Xbox 360 import Dream Club are welcome to ship on August 27, 2009 at JPY6800 or US$70.90 from NCS. Early reservations will ship with a bonus DLC card courtesy of D3 Publisher.

«©NCSX»
New and factory boxed Ys III for the Japanese Famicom (8-bit) which features the continuing adventures of Adol Christian.
