NDS Sangokushi DS 3 - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» The Playstation and Sega Saturn versions of Sangokushi V were released in Japan over a decade ago and sales were formidable. Koei revives the game and upgrades it with new features for a re-release on the NDS under the title of Sangokushi DS 3 aka San Goku Shi DS 3.
The Nintendo DS update follows the overall war and resource management framework of the original but new generals, weapons, strategic elements, and special abilities have been added to bolster the turn-based experience. By using diplomacy and timely military actions along with the forging of important alliances, players fend off attacks while expanding the reach and influence of the kingdom. A new game mode called "Battle Road Heroes" allows for quick and simple engagements instead of the time-investment-heavy main game mode.

PSP 1 Million Ton no Barabara - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» In the early days of the video gaming trade, Taito concocted a coin-op titled QIX which was a strategic puzzle game. By maneuvering a little diamond-shaped ship, players drew lines to construct 2D boxes and rectangles in order to build up a conglomeration of simple structures. The goal was to box in a little electrical monster called "Qix." It wasn't really a monster in the classical sense but we label most adversaries and enemies "monster" to demonize them and make them worthy of destruction.

Sony's 1 Million Ton no Barabara is the reversal of Qix. Instead of building up structures to defeat a monster ala Qix, players control a motley cadre of heroes to saw, sever, and break monstrous battleships apart. Since beastly battleships won't die at the hands of a few ragtag warriors without a fight, they'll strike back with firepower, ordnance, and arachnid-like creatures that scurry in hot pursuit. The heroes ramble around the surface of the ship with their saws to split the craft apart and when danger nears, they can hunker down in a shielded position to blunt attacks. While the destruction of the ship is happening, the arachnid-like creatures will try to stitch the ship back up to keep the parts from flying off into the heavens. If the heroes falter in their acts of havoc, the battleships will drop bombs and destroy their little principality. The visual style of the game may be described as "quirky" and "whimsical" with a dash of "quaint" thrown in to be comprehensive. Early reservations will ship with a bonus 1- Million Ton no Barabara T-shirt that's being given away by Sony in 50% ratio.

PSP Classic Dungeon Fuyoku no Masoujin - New Import

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Top-viewed RPGs have been around for ages and Nippon Ichi takes a stab at creating a "classic" RPG that's obviously lifted from the age of the original Famicom. Features such as 5-channel-sounding music, plain big-pixel graphics, and beeping-booping sound effects are all in attendance along with a simple quest to conquer. Basic objectives such as chopping up monsters, gathering loot, and leveling up are also part and parcel of Classic Dungeon. Character archetypes are depicted with stylized representations and the game world is made up of dot-graphics greenery, brickwork, and woodlands.

At the outset of the game, a selection of pre-built character archetypes are available for the choosing but if they're not endearing enough, players can doodle their own heroes. The character construction function features a 13 x 13 big-pixel grid upon which the front, profile, and back of a hero is designed. Once you're pleased with how the front of the hero looks, you can rotate him to work on the back. Give him a pigtail if you wish. When exploring the world, the hero of your choosing travels alone but up to eight supporting characters can be positioned around him in the setup screen. Their portraits will appear on the upper-right corner of the screen in the cardinal directions that you've placed them in.

Reservations will ship with a bonus Classic Dungeon Original Soundtrack which contains 8-bit music that might bring back a bit of retro reverie.
