X360 Senko no Ronde DUO Limited Edition - New Import

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Way before the original Senko no Ronde made the rounds in amusement centers across Japan, a vector-based game with a similar theme was being enjoyed stateside. Cinematronics' Space Wars pitted two ships against each other against a starry black backdrop that sort of looked like outer space. By thrusting, shooting, swerving, and thrusting some more, the two ships engaged in a deadly ballet of space-based warfare. 'Twas good times and it only took 30 years for another company to explore and update the one-vs-one space fighter theme.

Senko no Ronde features mech-ships known as "Rounders" which are capable of dashing around the screen, pivoting on its own axis, and shooting like the dickens. On any given stage, one Rounder faces off against another Rounder and the two blast away at each other with conventional vulcan fire, exotic ordnance, and the occasional mega blast while attempting to dodge incoming fire of varying intensities. The sequel Senko no Ronde DUO is more of the same game bolstered with new characters, brand spanking new ships, technique updates, and partner mechs who lend a helping hand.

The long-awaited (in certain circles) Xbox 360 conversion of Senko no Ronde DUO is accompanied by the release of a First Print Limited Edition which includes a "Character Voice Drama CD" at the price of JPY8800 or US$95.90 from NCS.

Roughly 35% of our preorders for the limited edition of Senko no Ronde DUO are shipping today. The remainder and all reservations for the regular edition of the game will ship tomorrow when everything else arrives.

VINYL Final Fantasy XI W/F: Music from Vana'diel - Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» Once upon a time, the delivery vehicle for music across the global landscape was a grooved black disc called an "LP" which stood for "long-playing." By spinning an LP on an instrument known as a "record player," analog music was played and people would dance while others stood next to a wall. These individuals were the wallflowers of American mythology.

Square has already experimented with releasing music on vinyl with the W/F:Music from FINAL FANTASY XIII which sold out on their website. The company follows up with another collection of Final Fantasy tunes which is being sold exclusively on Square's shop. NCS is accepting reservations for the
Final Fantasy XI W/F: Music from Vana'diel LP which contains a total of eight tracks and is scheduled to ship on or around June 18, 2010. Pricing reflects special arrangements to purchase and import the LPs from Square.

Preorders are welcome to ship in late June 2010 at JPY1980 or US$18.90.

TOYS Minira "Destroy All Monsters Ver" Figure - Import Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» The goofy bi-pedal monster named Minira made his big screen debut in a movie titled Son of Godzilla. In one scene from the film, viewers witnessed the runty Minira hugging Godzilla's tail to hitch a ride as the big galoot lumbered around a dusty plain. We enjoyed the scene where Minira got sprayed with a stream of webbing from a big spider where the clumsy Minira flailed around like a beguiled buster.

Despite being a monster, Minira looked sorta human with his soft eyes, busted teeth, and a rube's mug that only a mother could love. He also moved in a comical way with short steps, jostling arms, and a pokey-pudgy style which was endearing. Maybe that's why X-Plus is releasing a Minira toy figure but it's not based on the Son of Godzilla movie. They're going after the version of Minira which appeared in Destroy All Monsters - that was the Godzilla movie where all manner of monsters ravaged cities around the world and terrorized puny humans with their power.

X-Plus' rendition of Minira is being released under the "Toho Series" lineup and the figure measures 30cm or 11.81" tall. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late June 2010 at JPY9800 or US$118.90.

TOYS Sebastian Michaelis Nendoroid [Reissue] - Import Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» The Kuroshitsuji manga serial follows the adventures and misadventures of a young lord named Ciel Phantomhive and his dark butler Sebastian Michaelis. The advantage of having someone like Sebastian around the estate lies in his innate skills and abilities which in turn stem from Sebastian's inner demon.

NCS stocked an Nintendo DS game last year which featured a new storyline starring the duo and Good Smile Company has crafted a Michaelis Nendoroid figure as a sort of followup. The likeness to the dark butler is rather good despite the overly large Nendoroid head atop the slim body. The figure ships with a standard face but two other faces with different expressions are included in the package. The figure measures 10cm or 3.93" tall and is constructed of a PVC and ABS mix. Preorders ship in Oct.

Product Condition
NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed in the original cardboard containers. The packaging is in very good
structural shape but there is slight scuffing and some indentations on the cardboard. NCS' inventory does not suffer from "sun-fading" which is caused when projects are left out in the open so that sunlight bleaches the colors from once-pretty and color-vibrant packaging.

Sale Offering

Pricing per Hori Multitap Adapter is set at US$25.90 each. If you reside in the USA, NCS recommends USPS Media Mail shipping for the most economical domestic service. For our customers outside the USA, NCS recommends normal Airmail International service. «Photo Gallery»
