TOYS New Super Mario Brothers Wii Sound Drop - Preorder

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» In the introductory sequence for New Super Mario Bros Wii, the gang is celebrating Princess Peach's birthday when a big cake slides into view. Peach approaches but is surprised by a gang of malcontents who pop out of the Trojan cake commando-style, carry it over Peach's dainty person, and kidnap her whilst Mario, Luigi, and two Mr Toads are dazed. During the intro sequence and over the course of the first few stages of the game, all manner of sound effects may be heard including Propeller Mario's whirring, coins being collected, and Luigi's high-pitched squeaks. These sound effects and five more are collected in Bandai's upcoming New Super Mario Brothers Wii Sound Drop Compact set which is a collection of little teardrop-shaped toys which hold sound effects within their plastic bodies. Each Sound Drop is fitted with a button which may be depressed to induce the toy to make noise. Over the years, NCS has discovered that a Sound Drop can be used in various social situations for both good and evil. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late December 2010 at JPY2400 or US$32.90 for the complete set of 8 New SMB Sound Drops.

TOYS MGS Peace Walker Play Arts Kai Vol. 3 Cocoon - Preorder

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Naked Snake battles a motley assortment of mechanical monstrosities in MGS Peace Walker and one of the largest monsters in the game is a bruiser named "Cocoon." In the "A Nation Reborn" mission, Snake watches Cocoon motor down a ravine and face him. The massive war machine probably weighs a few tons compared to Snake's pithy 200+ bulk but Cocoon doesn't have a chance against a soldier of Snake's wherewithal. Square Enix has started preorders for a Play Arts Kai rendition of Cocoon that's impressive. It's big, detailed, and features movable parts including a crane which swivels to and fro. The gunpods that are mounted on Cocoon don't measure up to the number of guns that adorn Cocoon in the game but maybe the toy version of Cocoon is a peacenik of some stripe. 29cm Preorders for the MGS Peace Walker Play Arts Vol. 3 Cocoon are welcome to ship in mid-late November 2010 at JPY19800 or US$239.90 from NCS.

TOYS MGS Peace Walker Play Arts Kai Vol. 3 Zeke - Preorder

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Naked Snake faces off against a motley assortment of mechanical menaces in MGS Peace Walker and the final metal monster in the game is a mech named "Zeke." In the conclusive "Outer Heaven" mission, Snake watches as the completed Zeke rises up from the pits of its hangar and addresses him. Inside Zeke's cockpit, a waif named Paz is in her underwear and about to open up a can barrel of whoopass on Snake. Zeke towers over Snake's scrawny frame but the machine and Paz aka Pacifca Ocean don't have a snowball's chance in hell against a soldier of Snake's renown.

Square Enix has started preorders for a Play Arts Kai rendition of Zeke which looks close enough to the video game original. Play Arts Zeke is missing its railgun as well as its radome but these parts can be borrowed from the Play Arts Kai Chrysalis toy which includes them by default.

Preorders for the MGS Peace Walker Play Arts Vol. 3 Zeke are welcome to ship in mid-late November 2010 at JPY7800 or US$92.90 from NCS.

NEWS Summer Warehouse Clearance - Day 01 - KON Plush

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» We've been consolidating warehouses this year and it's a lot of work. Drudgery and sweat. No tears yet but maybe if the temperatures hit the 100s again this summer, grown-ass men will begin blubbering. Rather than moving the remaining old stock that hasn't been moved yet to new premises, we're going to try selling some of the inventory. Instead of keeping inventory for decades, we're going to try a different tactic. So, for the next 30 days or so until the lease on the old warehouse is up, we'll be putting up one or two warehouse items for sale every day. It'll be like the Scrap Heap Scramble madness we kicked off in early 2004 but on a smaller scale. The inventory will probably suit stores and vendors or even carnival operators; quantity discounts are available and listed on our shop. First up, the Bleach Series 2 KON Plush which NCS originally imported in the winter of 2005. The Bleach mascot is dressed in a black tuxedo and a microphone made of felt is attached to his right hand. He's playing the part of a nattily attired emcee or maybe a huckster of some sort. KON is also wearing a red bowtie which is probably worth at least 50 cents of intrinsic value by its lonesome. The plush measures 8" tall and is an officially licensed Japanese product that was manufactured by Banpresto. Pricing per plush is set at US$6.95 which includes free shipping by USPS Airmail within the United States. We are offering a graduated discount scale for this item. Purchase 2 KONs and the price drops by $0.50 each. Buy 5 of them for whatever reason and the price drops by $0.75 each. Hoarders who decide to spring for a bag of 10 or more enjoy a $1 discount on each plush. All orders submitted before 4PM EST will ship today. «Photo Gallery»
